This weekend saw the Granton Giants take on Buchan Sharks and the Kelvin Rapids for the second time this season.
Granton Giants 3 - 19 Buchan Sharks
Granton took on a strong Buchan Sharks team featuring a number of very experienced players. While the score line reflects the Sharks dominance there were plenty of positives to take from the defeat and some great moments of individual play. The team managed to snatch a lot of deflected catches and our new players awareness of the court and the game is coming on leaps and bounds.
Granton Giants 8 - 14 Kelvin Giants
Another close game against the team from Glasgows' West End. With calmer heads and a bit more experience this might have been one the Giants could have snatched. But a good performance all round and promising signs for the future.
The MVP of the meet was captain Amanda Gilmour for some inspired play, sneaky hits, and great catches.
